Good morning, apologies for the delay in sending out this week’s summary. I had a wisdom tooth extraction the other day and have been generally moping about since watching our embarrassing loss to Tulane. |

Northern California is bracing for a brutal storm Wednesday, expecting more flash floods, mudslides and power outages after a brief respite on Tuesday from a New Year’s Eve deluge that killed at least one person. |

A security guard was fatally shot last week at the off-campus Lorenzo apartments, a housing complex for USC students. A 31-year-old who trespassed on the property then shot the guard was charged with one count of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. |
